i've survived yet another thursday! GREAT!
so much to say, no where to start. so thankful i should be. but i'm too tired to start. would you refresh me, calm me, and lead me in peace. would you show me again what it means to stand inyour hand. to be held in your arms, to be led by your presence.
i'm sorry, sorry for my wrongs. sorry for everything that broke your heart. guide me once again, towards you, and away from myself. more of you, less of me.
Thankfully, our disappointments matter to God, and He has a way of takingeven some of the bitterest moments we go through and making them intosomething of great significance in our lives. It’s hard to understand atthe time. Not one of us says, “I can hardly wait to see where this threadis going to fit.” Rather, we say, “This is not the pattern I want.” Yetone day the Shepherd of our souls will put it all together--and give us aneternity to revel in the marvel of what God has done. Our Father holds thethreads of the design, and I’m so immensely grateful that He is the GrandWeaver. - ravi Zacharias
